Copper Medallion Hunt

Each year in conjunction with the City's Copperfest celebration the Parks & Recreation Department holds their Copper Medallion Hunt. Clues are given out at 9 am on each day starting on Wednesday before Copperfest and going until Sunday or until the Medallion is found. Try you luck and be on the hunt for the Copperfest medallion this year you never know you could become a little richer..

2010 Copper Hunt Clues Clue # 1 Spring is gone, Summer is here, Once again, it's time for a Copperfest cheer; The search for the little, round medallion is on with glee, Gather all the clues and think like a townee. Clue # 2 Once just an idea on paper Is now a landmark City caper. Over, under or on this pass Could lead you to the area at last Clue #3 They've stood the test of time And, for some, have become a common dime Oconto, Werrebroeck, Old Copper and Dump Discover which way to go and the competition you'll stump. Clue #4 The view is broad with many woods in sight, Don't stray too far from the path and you'll do all right; A walk, jog, or even a boat can take you there, Make the right choices and the medal you'll snare. Clue #5 Out of the woods you will finally be Surrounded by grasslands you'll see Focus in and pay close attention you'll need Find the right tree and it will be yours indeed

If you find the medallion please call (920) 834-7706 or 373-4714. Must claim prize by bringing the medallion into the Park & Rec. Office inside City Hall during open hours. Hunt ends Monday morning. Thank you
